story, “The Conjuring” tells the horrifying tale of how world renowned
paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help
a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced
to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves
caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
Pacific Rim
When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from
the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume
humanity's resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a
special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers,
which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked
in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless
in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces
defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a
washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko
Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete
Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind's last hope
against the mounting apocalypse.
World War Z
When former U.N. investigator Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) and his family get
stuck in urban gridlock, he senses that it's no ordinary traffic jam.
His suspicions are confirmed when, suddenly, the city erupts into chaos.
A lethal virus, spread through a single bite, is turning healthy people
into something vicious, unthinking and feral. As the pandemic threatens
to consume humanity, Gerry leads a worldwide search to find the source
of the infection and, with luck, a way to halt its spread.
Despicable Me 2
Now that Gru (Steve Carell) has forsaken a life of crime to raise Margo,
Agnes and Edith, he's trying to figure out how to provide for his new
family. As he struggles with his responsibilities as a father, the
Anti-Villain League -- an organization dedicated to fighting evil --
comes calling. The AVL sends Gru on a mission to capture the perpetrator
of a spectacular heist, for who would be better than the world's
greatest ex-villain to capture the individual who seeks to usurp his
power.
