This weekend was like Christmas all over again. What an amazing gift to have your vision brought to life! Dark Prophet has seen its share of trials. The publication date was pushed back due to my carpal tunnel issues.
Not only that, but the manuscript just didn't seem ready to me. I am a perfectionist in some aspects and I wanted the plot, characters, and dialogue to be perfect this time around. The pressure to produce is intense to say the least, but I think I owe it to my readers to give them something that I am proud of. And guess what...the manuscript is ready! And we are set for publication this January 31st, 2014!
Woohoo!
But wait!

The cover.
Oh yes. I nearly forgot. Who am I kidding? I never forgot. I've been obsessing over this cover for months. I couldn't find the right model, artist, photo...until, I met Biqi Shi. Something about her eyes captured my interest and I took the leap to ask her to be my model for the Dark Prophet cover. To my surprise, she was thrilled, honored, excited to do this for me. Biqi Shi is a physician's assistant, and now...she is Koa Ryeo-won as well! How many PA's do you know that can say they are on the cover of book? I know one that can.
